Main goal of the Georgian Entrepreneurs Confederation is to support member companies in developing in step with dynamics of the world and local markets, establishing contacts with local and international investors and implementing effective business projects consistent with modern requirements.

Our partners are foreign and international companies interested in the Georgiann market that necessitate regularly updated information and real contacts.

GEC is the full member of the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (UBCCE) www.ubcce.org

UBCCE is an international union composed of central, private, voluntary, nationally representative, horizontal business organizations from the countries neighboring or having strong geographical ties with the Black Sea and Caspian Region.

The Union, with its headquarters based in Istanbul, Turkey ensures permanent contacts with 24 member organizations in 19 countries (Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, FYROM, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine).

The Union’s main objective and mission is to contribute to establish institutionalized cooperation between the private sector organizations of the Black Sea and Caspian Region, with a view to assist the economic and social development by favoring, where necessary, the adoption of policies conductive to the better functioning of a market economy under optimal conditions.

Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) runs the UBCCE Presidency for the term 2009 – 2011 whereas Azerbaijan Turkey Business Association (ATIB), National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan (ATAMEKEN Union), Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (T?SK) and Alliance of Romanian Employers’ Confederation (ACPR) run the Vice Presidencies, respectively in charge of “Regional Economic Integration”, “Business Environment Development”, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” and “Relations with European Union and BUSINESSEUROPE” issues of the Union.

To promote business cooperation between member countries UBCCE employees Business Country Desks system, that unifies special representatives from each member business association. Goal of these desks is an exchange of business proposals and support to business projects implementation.

GEC has well established cooperation with the Spanish Confederation of Employers' Organizations (CEOE) www.ceoe.es.
